Tell us, who is Allan Todd?
I am the third of seven children, born into a very religious, upper middle class family, with strong family values. We were taught respect for others. To be honest. To be truthful. To assist those in need. To give back to the community. To maintain and preserve the integrity of the family name. The extended family and tenure at private Catholic schools further reinforced those values. And those values, which have added quality and richness to my life, now constitute my inner compass. This inner compass guides everything about my business life, my personal life and my relationships with colleagues, friends and relatives. And as the father of two, I have endeavored to impart these qualities into the lives of my children.
What kind of involvement do you have or have you had, in the community?
As a member of the community, I have been involved and continue to serve and participate in church and community organizations, including:The Mississauga Jaycees, where I served at several executive positions including president and past president and ex-officio member of the board of directors of the Mississauga City Board of Trade. Some of the Jaycee projects I was involved in include, The Annual Mississauga Santa Claus Parade, The Save A Child project, Jaycee Park, Citizenship Court, Fundraising and Soap Box Derby. I served as fundraising sector chairman for The United Way of Peel. And convener at Bloordale Baseball Association. I am an active member of Toastmasters International and have had the privilege of introducing some of the biggest names in the speaking and seminar business to some of the largest audiences.
My passion for public speaking has also led me to encourage this skill in others. I have helped to develop an "Effective Speaking Boot Camp" that was delivered to three groups of young people. In addition to working on the development, I was a co-presenter of the programme to the students who range in age from 13 to 18 years old. (See photos)
A portion of every real estate sale I successfully conclude, I have pledged to the Hospital for Sick Children through the Children's Miracle Network. I support this worthy organization as a token of my appreciation for the care given my daughter who needed surgery before her first birthday.
I would be honoured to tell you how the sale of your property would benefit this excellent cause. Click here to learn more about the Children's Miracle Network.
What are your hobbies and interests?
I enjoy singing (in college, I sang in a band) and listening to a variety of good music. I am a bibliophile, a collector of good books, including a growing collection of miniature books and historic speeches, both in print and audio formats. I also enjoy travel, movies, theatre and of course, as a toastmaster, public speaking. My passions include my children, good friends, good food, and great conversation.
Why should I consider Allan Todd to act as my agent in one of the most important and largest financial transactions of my life to date?
Before entering the real estate industry, I spent 20 years in the aerospace and hi-tech industry with giants like Xerox and Litton. In various capacities within the procurement departments, I have earned a reputation for honesty, integrity, competence and fairness while conducting business and negotiating specifications, statements of work, and contracts worth tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars.I continue to network with and maintain friendships with many of my colleagues in Canada, the USA and Europe.
Here is a comment from a Swiss partner in an international project;
In giving a brief summary of his activities we like to emphasize on two remarkable features of Mr. Todd that have made him a highly regarded member of an international team.
Building on extensive expertise and sound professional training, Mr. Todd has the ability to be extremely flexible and remain performing at the same high level in a daily changing international environment.
Apart from his flexibility probably his biggest talent is to communicate very effectively with people by phone or at the negotiating table in different continents dealing with different nationalities, languages and cultural backgrounds.
Under all circumstances he remained very professional and competent.

As a member of the Mississauga Real Estate Board, The Toronto Real Estate Board, as well as the Canadian Real Estate Association and the Ontario Real Estate Association, I have pledged to honour and uphold a strict code of conduct and ethics. As well as a commitment to constantly and continuously update and upgrade my education and skills Re/Max sales associates are afforded a myriad of opportunities to rise above the crowd with advanced industry education.
With memberships in the above organizations, I can list and sell homes anywhere in the Province of Ontario. However, I have chosen to serve in the area I've called home for thirty years: I represent both buyers and sellers of homes in the GTA, specializing in west and central Toronto, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton and Oakville.
As a devoted student of life, I am dedicated to continuous education and I invest generously in my professional and personal development. As a life-long, avid reader and public speaker, I read on a wide range of topics and regularly attend industry courses and seminars. My mentors include Marilyn Jennings, Danielle Kennedy, Leland Val Van de Wall, Bob Proctor, Brian Tracy and Tom Hopkins.
As the father of two teen-aged children, both attending local schools, I have involved myself in their activities and education. This unique immersion has provided me with an acute awareness of the needs and wants of families in this area. I know the schools, the neighborhoods, the recreational facilities, and the services available.
